IT Business Analyst – Technology Services

Based at the Nottingham support office and working as part of the Technology Services team the IT Business Analyst will play a key role in the successful delivery of projects and solutions. The ideal candidate will be flexible with good stakeholder management, and a strong technical background.

About the opportunity

Key responsibilities:

• Understand and analyse customer (business and internal IT project team) requests
• Compile requirements documentation
• Work across the Project Delivery Lifecycle, with Project managers, Technical Architects, testing teams and Service Introduction to deliver the identified requirements and benefits
• Manage stakeholders
• Act as a bridge between customer and technical IT teams

About you

• Business analysis tools and techniques
• Project delivery methodologies including Waterfall and Agile
• Documentation of user requirements, stories and acceptance criteria
• Minimum of 3yrs working in an IT Business/Systems Analysis role delivering IT infrastructure change
• Broad understanding of IT technology areas, for example End User Computing, Hosting, Integration, Networks, Cloud Computing
• Work in a Retail and Pharmaceutical business environment, including knowledge of supply chain and financial processes
