This is an exciting opportunity to support the continued growth of eMAR as part of our Care Services complete offer by managing the transition of care homes and care services stores from paper-based medication administration records to electronic. The role of the eMAR technical lead is to drive the development of the eMAR solution and offer within Boots by being a subject matter expert, working closely with the Implementation Manager and key stakeholders to ensure we meet our customer and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the development of the eMAR solution within Boots by fulfilling the role of eMAR system subject matter expert (end to end) to ensure the internal and external solutions meet business and customer needs
• Own the support office stakeholder relationships with IT, Pharmacy office, Pharmacy Ops, Columbus, Care Services to ensure eMAR focus and support networks are maintained
• Act as the development and technical lead for eMAR, identifying process and system opportunities to drive continual improvement including defining, developing and documenting processes and training materials
• Proactively develop and maintain knowledge to understand customer (store and care home) requirements, provider and competitor systems and solutions
• Ensure appropriate governance structures are in place to protect the business, customers and patients around the development of the eMAR solution

• Our ideal candidate will have recent dispensing qualification and/or experience to ensure credibility with users
• Ability to build relationships, engage and influence others both internally and externally, at all levels
• Planning and project management skills and approach
• Attention to detail, ensuring documentation is kept up to date
• Dynamic, flexible work ethic to respond to emerging risks, opportunities and system and solution development with pace
