ROI Marketing Manager - Customer Loyalty

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Boots Ireland Marketing Team for a Marketing Manager for Customer Loyalty and managing our Advantage Card Program, one of Irelands leading customer loyalty programmes.

About the opportunity:

A successful Marketing Manager for Customer Loyalty will be able to seamlessly work across all of Boot’s iconic categories & brands to deliver an enticing loyalty offering tailored to the Republic of Ireland.
A successful individual will thrive at the prospect of owning the responsibility to drive the strategic planning & implementation of our renowned Boots Advantage Card brand, as well as finding energy in further developing our sub-brands and associated assets, including the Boots app.
We have some exciting plans to evolve the Advantage Card offering as we further utilise our Martech projects that support this. We have the clear vision for our Loyalty offering that we plan to remain Ireland’s leading Customer loyalty programme and to do this, we need someone who feels completely comfortable in a position that sits at the very heart of this vision and plays a strong role in the delivery of this.
Our ROI business is currently going through a transformative journey to utilise mass personalisation and in particular how this plays a critical role with our Loyalty programme. As a result, a successful candidate will naturally gravitate towards developing a strong relationship with our insights and research team for Ireland and know the language and concepts of insights.
This role reports to the Head of Marketing for Boots Ireland and you will work cross functionally with the ROI Marketing Team and UK Marketing Teams, specifically the Customer Engagement & Loyalty teams and the Research/Insights teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ownership of the Ireland Loyalty strategy and implementation – which includes clubs, Advantage card and the app
  • Development and delivery of the Loyalty plan for Ireland
  • Managing the implementation and integration of our Martech Loyalty programme for Ireland
  • Working with the UK Loyalty team to create, coordinate and deliver targeted offers and programmes across all channels including direct mail, till and digital channels
  • Owning agency and partner relationships including creative, production, mailing and email service provider
  • Strong understanding of insights tracking, such as:
    • You Gov
    • Kantar deep dive
    • Econometrics

About you (the candidate and their experience):
  • CRM marketing expertise, ideally through usage of advanced Martech solutions
  • Demonstratable knowledge of the strategic importance of loyalty schemes and how they play a wider role within a Marketing function
  • Strong analytical skills and mindset, with enough knowledge of YouGov, Kantar, Econometrics, or other market insight tools to work closely with insights teams.
  • Experience or knowledge of the Irish market
  • Budget management
  • You will need to be an excellent relationship builder with both internal and external stakeholders and possess strong communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy is essential
  • In addition, you will need to enjoy working in a fast-past environment, with the drive to transform our loyalty offerings while bring teams along with you.
