Allocation of Colleague Investment (ACI) Analyst

This is a rare opportunity to join our salary modelling team supporting senior leaders to deliver our payroll budget. This is a great career stepping stone opportunity for those aspirational Data Analysts wanting to have exposure in a global organisation. Providing timely, accurate and validated salary modelling to our 2,300 stores is vital to allow our store managers to plan our colleagues to delight our customers. We have both full time permanent and fixed term opportunities available.

The ACI Analyst is critical to analysing many financial and people data streams to ensure that our salary model is frequently updated and robust for our stores colleagues. The use of various analytical tools and statistics will allow you to identify continuous improvement opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Model the workload allocation and budgets for all Boots UK and ROI stores C.2,500
• Interpret complex data streams and manipulate them into the format needed for ACI
• Ensure the data integratory of the ACI model including ensuring complex validation is completed
• Create reports and analysis using the ACI input to help support other functions and the ACI Manager
• Support other functions when creating business cases and salary modelling to validate payroll savings
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities internally to the function to improve the accuracy of ACI
• Support the maintenance and updating our Store based colleague tools

A bit about you…

• You will be a team player with a passion for working towards a collective goal
• You will have strong analytical skills and be able to understand complex data streams through a variety of tools including Microsoft Excel and then VBA is also desirable but not essential.
• You will be able to make complex processes simple and have a strong continuous improvement mindset.
• You will adapt quickly to tight deadlines and be able to flex your workload to support the long term projects as well as short term ad-hoc data work.
