Insights Manager (8 month FTC)

We’re recruiting for an 8-month fixed-term Insights Manager with a passion to make sure the voice of the customer is heard in our retail businesses in UK and Ireland. You’ll need commercial thinking skills and the ability to inspire senior leaders to make decisions through your customer insights.

Key Responsibilities:
This role is a vital part of our team that leads strategic insight projects for Boots UK and Ireland marketing teams. The main parts of your job will be as follows:

• You’ll build relationships with and directly influence senior Marketing stakeholders and their teams. You’ll understand their plans and design a programme of research and insights to shape their decisions.
• You’ll lead our surveys to understand the health of Boots and competitor brands, recommending how we can grow our brand equity.
• You’ll lead our research projects to build our wider corporate reputation and develop community initiatives.
• You’ll develop, test and measure our major advertising campaigns
• You’ll select, inspire and collaborate with our research agency partners to deliver fantastic insight.

A bit about you:
• The ability to think strategically: you’ll have evidence of helping businesses anticipate and adapt to changes in customer behaviour.
• To see the bigger picture: you’ll have experience of placing a business issue in a wider context. For example, you’ll have access to a range of brand tracking, market data and Advantage Card behavioural data sources.
• To have commercial acumen: you’ll be able to show how your understanding of what makes a business tick allowed you to apply your research in a way that created value.
• To be a storyteller: you’ll have lots of examples of how you’ve adapted your communication style and approaches to inspire people to take your ideas on board.
• Of course, we’ll also expect you to be an expert in research techniques and have examples of developing new approaches.

You’ll be of degree calibre with five or more years of experience in client-side, agency or consultancy roles.
