Are you excited by finding ways to driving performance using one of the UK’s largest 1st Party datasets as well as building campaigns that will reach almost all UK adults ? If so then this is the role for you. We are looking for an integrated Media Planner who owns the paid media agenda for some of our key categories, thinking about how to reach the consumer in the right moment and in the right way.

This role translates commercial and marketing objectives into exciting briefs for our media agencies; working closely with our media agency and key internal stakeholders to build data driven plans. This role also owns budget allocation across channels and the performance that spend will deliver, ensuring that the investments we deliver real strategic impact.

Key Responsibilities:

· Strategic media planning; understands how commercial and marketing objectives can be delivered through integrated media campaigns. Works in collaboration with commercial teams to agree priorities.

· Accountable for strategic and tactical media plans using insight, customer journeys, performance data and analytics.
· Utilizes martech to support the delivery of effective campaigns; works closely with data science and AI teams to drive mass personalization across channels.
· Works with analytics teams to measure and report on campaign & channel performance; ensures KPIs are in place for all activities.
· Manages relationship with media agency and internal media teams
· Drives meaningful innovation; identifies new, innovative ways of reaching customers. Understands how martech can support the delivery of effective campaigns.
· Works closely with the creative and content teams to ensure media assets are optimized across channels

A bit about what we are looking for:

· Demonstrable expertise in key media channels, particularly across addressable media; solid knowledge of ATL, paid digital channels, organic channels & CRM. Demonstrable ability to develop effective integrated communication plans.

· Media planning experience client or agency side working on retail and/or consumer businesses
· Experience of managing media agencies – planners and buyers; experience of working in close collaboration with creative and content teams.
· Understands how to incorporate customer insight and customer journeys with analytics to drive results.
· Strong commercial acumen; ability to drive measurable performance for the business. Analytical and structured.
· Proficiency in key martech / media tools, including FB, Google, GA360, Adobe (or similar); understanding of performance tracking including digital performance metrics, econometric and MTA.
