This Senior Digital Operations role is responsible for planning, testing and approving all technical changes across our digital retail platforms for both UK and ROI.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our digital first team working collaboratively, leading cross functional teams to plan, deliver and run high profile projects at pace and to agreed critical deadlines

About the opportunity:

Boots has an aggressive ambition to grow its digital business, the Digital Operations Team sits at the heart of this business with responsibility for the exemplary operational delivery of our customer proposition, across all digital channels.
This is a newly created role reporting into the Head of Digital Operations
• Accountable for approving all technical deployments on all digital platforms
• Accountable for the plan which schedules digital technical changes across all functions, platforms and the trade plan, to minimize customer disruption and maximise revenue.
• Accountable for the successful completion and approval of hardening testing within the agile development framework across all digital infrastructure and platforms to critical deadlines
• Own the cross functional planning, implementation and communication up to Exec level, of all key initiatives including peak events and major technical changes
• Responsible for ensuring the digital platforms maintain stability with accountability for identifying and managing issues and incidents impacting daily trading to ensure resolution efficiently, at pace

About you:

• We are looking for someone who is passionate about customers, an experienced leader and great communicator, with online experience and an understanding and exposure to web and related systems
• An engaging leader with a proven ability to lead, develop and manage a team to deliver right first time in a fast paced, high pressured environment
• Experience in implementation of cross functional processes, procedures and new ways of working to improve operational efficiencies
• Experienced and confident stakeholder manager across multiple stakeholders and third parties
• Flexibility to work out of hours, early mornings, late evenings and provide escalation support 24x7x365
