Overview of the role:

As an Assistant Social & Content Manager, you are responsible for running the UK social media channels for Soap & Glory UK and delivering local content for the brand.

Through your understanding of the UK target consumer you will be integral to brand activation of Soap & Glory in the UK. We are looking for you to be a champion of the brand and its messages to our consumers, supporting the local social strategy and delivery of the social activity plans, to support the brand plan in a way that maximizes value to the business.

Through a true demonstration of collaborative working, you will work within a high performing team who present best in class activity execution, practices and behaviours to internal and external colleagues.

About the opportunity:

• You will be part of the UK Brand team, reporting into the UK Brand Manager.
• You will be the social expert, running the UK channels in line with global brand standards and reporting on performance. This includes the translation of global assets into local execution, and supporting in local production of content as required.
• You will work closely with the PR team to support influencer engagement and activation activities.
• You will work with the Brand Manager and Assistant Brand Manager in the planning and implementation of paid social media campaigns.
• You will contribute to the total effectiveness of the department, communicating openly, solving problems proactively, offering creative ideas and working as a positive engaged, team member.

In addition to the above, the following experience/capabilities would be highly advantageous:

• Proven ability to develop thorough understanding of customer and consumer behavior
• Experience in developing social media strategies and scheduling across social media channels.
• Experience of content production through photoshoots and using photoshop
• Ability to work closely and productively with internal partners and external agencies
• Excellent communicator and strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to influence senior stakeholders
