This role offers direct experience within the Customer and Category Teams, providing the opportunity to learn all the skills required to develop into a Category manager of the future.

About the opportunity

As a Category Administration Assistant your role will be essential to the delivery of key initiatives across the Customer and Category Team.

The purpose of the role is to provide direct and immediate support for your category based upon both consistent, and Ad Hoc requirements of the team. This may include (although not be limited to), responding to immediate & urgent queries from different stakeholders from across the business (e.g. Marketing, PR, Supply etc.) through to developing a knowledge of the category in order to support the Commercial Operations team in managing Salesplan, Finance and New Line Set Up.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Marketing and Public Relation product nominations
• Store Operation Queries
• Customer Support Centre questions & queries,
• Carrying out regular competitor reviews, and maintain details on previous activity,
• Liaising directly with suppliers on any key requirements such as product samples and images,
• Ad Hoc administrative tasks

About you

• Ability to multitask and prioritise workload alongside good time management
• Strong numeracy and administration skills
• Attention to detail with a right first-time attitude
• Strong ability to communicate effectively whether face to face, telephone or email
• Collaborative team working and relationship building
• Positive attitude, ability to deal with last minute changes and queries
• Works well under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Ability to be adaptable and flexible
• Knowledge of Microsoft office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word) essential
