Boots Opticians have an exciting opportunity to support our expanded retail property investment plan. We are recruiting for Property Project Managers, one to be based in the North and another to be based in the Midlands. This role is essential to lead the delivery of the retail property investment strategy and maintenance program and is instrumental in ensuring all property interventions at store level are supported and delivered to plan.

The role will require geographically based travel as well as some time in the support office in Nottingham.

About the opportunity:

The Property Project Managers, although predominantly field based, are part of a wider support office team which includes a Planning Manager, reporting into the Property Portfolio Manager.

• Lead and manage the delivery of store property interventions to support store teams.
• Plan and co-ordinate the implementation of the store investment at a local level within their geography.
• Translate the contractor’s program into a key set of tasks and actions that are easily understood and implemented by the store or franchise partner.
• Work within a team of Property Project Managers and a Planning Manager to ensure the in-year Boots Opticians property plan is delivered on time and within budget.
• Build strong relationships and work cross functionally between Boots Opticians retail teams, Franchise Partners and store teams, Boots UK Property team, external contractors and Boots Hearingcare.

About you:

• You have experience of leading customer facing projects and delivering complex solutions.
• You are highly accountable, autonomous, resilient and with a sharp focus for detail.
• You have the desire and ability to build and maintain strong relationships with influence and impact.
• You will be an exemplary and effective communicator who can connect and influence others brilliant.
• You have experience at management level, preferably within an Opticians business and fanatical about the customer.
