Overview of the role:

This is a unique role within the Digital Experience team to showcase your design expertise, and production skills to deliver brilliant customer experiences across our market-leading websites.

About the opportunity:

We’re looking for a motivated and creative Digital Design Production Lead to join the Digital Experience team and manage the delivery of digital content on our UK and ROI websites. This role is a mix of designer and project manager, you’ll work within a team of designers, copywriters and UX specialists to ensure all briefs that come into the team are delivered, with a focus on digital design and CMS build, approved and published. In a fast paced and reactive environment, you’ll be relied upon to be flexible, calm and collected, whilst designing and producing assets within the Boots visual guidelines to give a customer experience to remember.

• Own the end to end process from brief handover, design creation, through to build, testing, quality control, final page approvals and publishing to live
• Develop digital design solutions/assets/pages and lead compliance with our digital style guide and the Boots brand
• Ensure marketing campaigns and events are fully integrated and align with other Boots channels.
• Manage key stakeholder approvals before go-live, and monitor & review performance during and after the activity
• Work closely with internal team and external agencies including eComm teams, planning, operations, and marketing squads.
• Work with the project management workflow tool to meet stakeholders, plan resource, monitor status, and deliver to agree timelines.
• Responsible for the development of a small team of designers

IMPORTANT NOTE: This role requires regular working outside normal office hours. This typically involves working on a rota from 5am once a week, weekend working particularly at peak times, and occasional overnight working e.g. for major launches. In general, you will be expected to be flexible with your working hours to meet business and customer needs.

About you:

• Fluency with Adobe Creative Suite (in particular Photoshop).
• Digital UX/UI skills and experience of designing for a commercial site.
• CMS working knowledge (Adobe Experience Manager would be ideal).
• Excellent project management, organisation and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and customer focus
