Reducing loss and waste helps the business manage its operating costs that ultimately drives profitability.

About the opportunity

Expert in the end to end policy and procedures for all loss related stock control and supply processes throughout the supply chain including centrally adjusted movements of stock.

Analyse data and provide insights and recommendations to reduce loss and waste in the future.

Identify risk in current stock control policy & processes, recommend, design and implement new solutions to mitigate or minimise identified risk in all areas of accountability

Provide information for action. Performance data that can be used to drive insight and activity. Focus on trends that help identify and reduce risk from process errors

Support the communication of the loss metrics, messages and understanding supply, logistics, .Com and merchandising

Understand the risks with a loss mindset identifying categories, products, process gaps that drive loss and waste in stores

To develop relationships and have great communication skills to present back to Senior Stakeholders the insights and influence the loss strategies in the future.

Continually looking for ways to improve and a real passion for driving forward improvements identified and have real desire to make a difference for themselves/team/KPI’s.

Responsible for building and sustaining relationships with Operations, stores, warehousing and trading working cross-functionally communicating clearly to impact and influence solutions.

Work as an effective team player, supporting the Loss Manager coaching and motivating other team members
Using facts and data to support the delivery of your KPI’s.

About you

• Ideally experience within, a Loss, Supply Chain, Store, Trading role would be desirable
• Strong excel skills is required for this role
• Leading projects or project management experience is beneficial from project creation, managing deadlines through to delivery and review
• You must be analytical and organised, able to work and deliver at pace. Excellent attention to detail, using facts and data to make informed decisions
• The ideal candidate will be process focused, have effective communications and strong numerical skills
• Ability to influence and challenge, taking accountability for your KPI’s
• The role at times can be challenging, demanding and fast paced therefore you must have a flexible and adaptable approach to work, be able to manage expectations of your key stakeholders and prioritise workloads accordingly and when required
