Finance Manager - Order to Cash (Boots)

As the Finance Manager, Finance Services OTC your role will be to ensure efficient and effective OTC* processes across the Boots UK&I business managing delivery of such through the BPO partner where relevant.
You will interface with the BPO provider across OTC processes to ensure an accurate and timely delivery and swift resolution of queries and issues.

You will champion the Shared Service and WBA finance transformation and change initiatives and manage the retained Finance Services teams (Retained OTC and Cash & Banking)

You will participate in the evolution and implementation of WBA global OTC processes and tool sets across Boots UK&I.
* This role covers all OTC with the exception of Supplier Funding

About the opportunity

• Provide reliable and timely finance OTC processing
• Ensure collective delivery against OTC KPIs and SLAs across BPO and Boots processes
• Driving the stability of new outsourced service provider
• Supporting to embed the new Boots UK structure including ownership of processes and controls
• To proactively lead your team and the business through the final stages of a significant transition; actively managing arising issues and complex escalations
• Supporting the team, and specifically direct reports with mentoring and coaching
• Responsible for Boots review approval and sign off of relevant OTC activities and controls performed by the offshore BPO provider
• Promote migration to WBA standard OTC Global processes wherever possible
• Champion the implementation of new WBA Global Finance processes and tools across Boots and the BPO as appropriate in support of the wider finance transformation
• Ensure adherence to policies and compliance

About you

• Experienced leader of efficient & well controlled process environment
• Finance qualification or working towards; would consider qualified by experience for the right candidate
• Experience of Order to Cash processes
• Experienced people leader
• Ability to work across a highly matrixed structure and with remote offshore teams
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to drive change
• Attention to detail
• Digitally proficient, use of SAP & Microsoft Office, willing ness to adopt and learn new tools
