You will need to be confident operating on a daily basis in a fast paced, reactive and tactical environment. Working cross functionally you will support several categories with their delivery of the commercial plan, maintaining a clear operational focus for stores and ensuring all commercial activity is devised with our stores in mind.

You will need to have an understanding of key operational activity (such as Merchandising and Sales plan) and have a passion for the delivery of these into our stores to an excellent operational standard. You will be responsible for working alongside the Boots Hub and Colleague Engagement team to ensure stores have all the relevant operational guidance and resource to complete all activity.

This opportunity will enable you to work collaboratively within a dedicated team who are passionate and committed to delivering all in store activity simply and effectively in stores.

About the role

• Provide clear and timely operational guidance and information for stores, central and field functions through cross functional working
• Provide operational solutions to tactical issues
• Develop and maintain departmental and external cross functional relationships
• Develop and maintain an integrated plan, representing key milestones and actions required from areas of the business. Ensure all activity is deemed fit for purpose and centrally approved by the Boots Hub
• Ensure all Projects, Initiatives, Trials, Incentives and In Store Demo’s land right first time in stores
• Continually review and evaluate all activity ensuring any key insights are incorporated into future activity
• Work cross functionally to ensure that all Sales plan activity is planned with simplicity and stores in mind and is operationally fit for purpose
• Establish a strong relationship with stores as part of Sales plan fortnightly visits
• Ensure Merchandising activity is operationally sound, and simple for stores to implement
• Support the delivery of key NPD into stores ensuring a simple operation and maximum compliance
• Ensure that recall activity is planned and compliance is encouraged. Attend all risk assessments and champion operational simplicity for stores
