Assistant Visual Merchandising & Shopper Marketing Manager - Liz Earle
6 Month Fixed Term Contract

As we expand our retail offer, in the UK, you will be instrumental in developing new processes and influencing the overall look and feel of our stores. You will be responsible for managing a multitude of visual merchandising and shopper marketing projects across the UK market, including monthly store updates, POS design, windows, permanent POS updates and events; whilst maintaining our strong brand integrity and identity. This will include store development projects, new store openings, events and other channels requiring visual support.

About the opportunity:

• In-store execution (50%)
- Project manage & lead NPD & promotional launches inline with calendar
- Create planograms, VM guides, allocations & briefing inhouse/outhouse creative
- Budget management

• New counter designs/refits (25%)
- Support VM Manager with new counter/activity designs & roll-outs

• Props, additional sites (10%)
- Work with external agencies to brief & produce VM, FSDU’s, additional items etc

• Internal & External relationships (10%)
- Liase and manage suppliers, setting KPIs, challenge spend
- Work closely with internal teams, holding meetings with commercial/brand/studio
- Coach Ops Assistant days to day

• Evaluations & ROI (5%)
- Effective and efficient evaluations per project and ongoing improvement suggestions on process
- ROI where applicable on project basis, with clear suggestions against deliverables both quantitative and qualitative
- Constant process improvements & negotiations with suppliers & key stakeholders

About you:

• Experience in a previous role within Visual Merchandising and instore marketing, ideally within the beauty industry
• Passion and interest for the beauty industry required. Excellent eye for design and detail, understands the importance of aesthetic and functional quality
• Managing Vision & Purpose: Ability to develop and bring to life the marketing calendar in store, creating a clear but engaging presentation for each category
• Project Management: Organisational agility and great project management skills required to drive creation & implementation of VM updates. Advance planning and ability to be nimble and juggling multiple priorities
• Able to identify and exploit all opportunities in a dynamic, multi-channel, multi-category business. Thrives on measurable objectives and tangible results.
• Team Player: Promotes and leads cross-functional working linked to integration of VM materials. Contributes to team dynamic, leads by example sharing best practice and mentoring junior team members and supports other store members.
• Clear Communicator: Communicates and presents confidently and with authority on areas of responsibility, developing a strong cross-functional network. Great informing and motivating skills required to communicate effectively to stores, always explaining the ‘why’
• Ensure on budget and on time implementation of all products and instore execution for the Liz Earle brand in the UK market.
