Working in our insights and analytics team within Consumer Planning and Insight, you will be delivering strategic analytical insights and solutions for a wide range of partners across the No7 Beauty Company business to drive commercial advantage.

About the opportunity

Our unique team structure allows us to work collaboratively with other analysts, research managers and trend analysts to build holistic and compelling insights, putting our customers at the heart of the decision-making process.

• Act as a key partner to the No7 Beauty Company in order to understand business challenges and add value through consumer insight to drive our skincare brand strategies and commercial decisions; specifically supporting our global skincare brands, product, and local marketing teams, as well as supporting on broader skincare insight initiatives set by the needs of the business partners
• Craft the future of our skincare brands by providing customer focussed insights and wider business and market context, including competitor trends and performance, through leveraging and synthesising various data sources
• Provide strategic solutions to key business questions through bespoke analysis; scope and manage projects and ad-hoc requests from responding to the brief, right through to impactful delivery of results and recommendations
• Play a proactive role in building a strong understanding of our brands’ customers through analysing and interpreting data, and turning this knowledge into actionable insight
• Clearly and concisely present insight and recommendations to stakeholders, acting as the voice of the customer; be confident in presenting the ‘What’ and developing the ‘So what’
• Use a variety of market data sources and tools, and leverage our first party data to get an in-depth understanding of consumer shopping behaviour and performance
• Support the Skincare Matrix Team/Insight Managers with consumer research projects, working with external organisations/agencies and utilising research tools

About you

• Experience of analysing large and complex sets of data and exposure to a range of analytical tools and techniques
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to manipulate and visualise data in a compelling way
• Ability to extract, manipulate and analyse large data sets through SQL, R, Python or similar querying & analytical tools
• Exposure to external data platforms and insight solutions such as Kantar, IRi, NPD, Euromonitor, Similarweb, and Pulsar is desirable
• Experience of creating user-friendly and interactive dashboards/reports using a data visualisation tool such as Power BI or Tableau would be advantageous
• Ability to analyse data at a technical level whilst being able to confidently interpret and deliver findings to a non-technical or data-savvy audience, championing the voice of the customer
• Excellent communication, organisational and project management skills; ability to handle multiple tasks through managing competing priorities and workload
• Excellent attention to detail with a “Right First Time” approach in order to deliver best in class outputs
• Experience of working within a retail/FMCG business environment would be advantageous
