The Proposition & Innovation Manager is responsible for development of the customer proposition, using insights to create and optimise the omnichannel offer to deliver growth and disruption. This is a newly created role with an opportunity to make a significant impact on the business, generating exciting, forward-thinking ideas that step change performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply a customer-led focus, using in-depth customer behaviour insights to inform short term strategy and long-term change
• Continually propose and develop changes to the future proposition and promotional landscape, both responding to industry and market change and driving disruption
• Actively seek out innovation, tech and ideas, propose solutions for how these can be used to improve the offer, and work with other functions to test and implement
• Develop the future direction for the product portfolio and range through use of market trends, and analysis of customers, competitors and internal performance, and make recommendations to the buying team for development/sourcing of new product
• Provide leadership and development to the proposition team, delivering brilliant people management /development to support the team in achieving business objectives and executing strategic change

A bit about you:

• Excellent strategic thinking skills, with a proven track record of implementing forward-thinking change & innovation in a commercial environment
• Experience in developing and leading implementation of a commercial proposition, working effectively with other functions and stakeholders to deliver successful change
• Passionate about the customer with previous experience of using insights to improve performance
• Confident and effective at influencing stakeholders and bringing your ideas to life
• Agile in your decision making, with a can-do attitude and the ability to think outside the box
