The Senior Analyst – Finance Services, Supplier Funding will support the provision of efficient and effective Supplier Funding processes across the Boots UK&I business helping to manage delivery of such through the BPO partner and third party Recovery Auditors where relevant. You will perform retained tasks & activities to manage the smooth running of the Supplier Funding process across Boots UK & Ireland; including any retained control activities. The successful candidate will contribute detailed expertise and knowledge to initiatives to improve funding processes and tools and specifically the Supplier Funding project.

You will support the development of Audit Recovery processes to fit with the organisational changes and process changes driven by the Supplier Funding project. The role works proactively with the BPO provider across Supplier Funding processes to ensure an accurate and timely delivery and swift resolution of queries and issues. It is the main point of contact and escalation for the BPO provider for the investigation and resolution of any O invoicing or collection issues that cannot be sufficiently resolved within the BPO or direct with the supplier / function within the business.

To work with and provide cover for the escalation of other issues that the BPO provider is unable to resolve sufficiently and to support with the delivery of Shared Service and WBA finance transformation / change initiative projects.

About the opportunity

• Accountability for various category trading areas
• Business partnering with the category trading areas to manage and own the delivery of supplier funding, recovery audit and cost price management into the business
• Coordinate with the business and BPO provider to ensure effective delivery of month end tasks
• Retained organisation review of financial calculations through appropriate tool within an agreed time frame and work with Boots stakeholders to obtain approval
• Promote and enforce new ways of working ensuring all external and business queries are routed via the BPO teams at first instance
• Respond to or coordinate resolution of queries escalated back from BPO provider
• Use tools to identify recovery of Supplier Funding and put in processes to prevent future claims.
• Maintain relationships with internal & external customers including: BPO, suppliers, customers, finance colleagues and Trading teams
• Promote and drive continuous improvement

• Experienced in working in a complex process areas, experience of the funding area
• Be influential and be confident to manage challenge, competing priorities, high volumes in a fast pace environment.
• Ability to work across a highly matrixed structure and with remote offshore teams
