Lead Business Analyst - Digital

Our Digital platform is looking for a dynamic Lead Business Analyst to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing demand across the Digital and Customer Platform.
As the Lead BA you will be responsible for managing demand coming into the Digital workstream and for supporting Product Owner/Business Analysts and Product Managers to prioritise Roadmap initiatives and backlogs within our Agile Delivery Model.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage demand coming into the Customer and Category Platform via the established In-take process including prioritising work and resourcing.
• Facilitate the preparation of prioritised work from Lean Business Case through to user stories by supporting and coaching BA’s/PM’s/PO’s.
• Work with the Lead Solution Architect, RTE, Delivery Managers and Enterprise Architecture to ensure teams are well utilised and the pipeline of work is well understood and resourced accordingly.
• Be the main point of contact for all Digital work initiatives from large to small scale projects, ensuring stakeholders are well informed on progress, funding/cost insights and delivery output.
• Work as part of the Boots Digital Leadership Team and manage the BA/POs within the Digital team.

A bit about you…
• You will have significant experience of working within an agile software delivery environment ideally in a leadership role.
• You will have experience of working as a Product Owner/Product Manager or Agile Business Analyst.
• A thorough understanding of Agile methodologies supported by the skills to guide and coach teams in prioritising and executing against a product backlog.
• Strong understanding of principles, theories, practices and techniques for managing activities involved in planning and delivering software development projects.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage, influence, negotiate and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders at all levels in the business.
• Self-starter, highly proactive and assertive in a demanding and dynamic environment;
• Managerial experience of BA’s/PO’s/PM’s
