Need to know

6022 has the biggest NHS business within the East Edinburgh and Borders Area. The Store does around 3350 NHS items per week of which around 1300 are from CHS with the rest in the walk in dispensary. The Store has a high level of locked in patients and in collaboration with the local GPs are rapidly expanding their serial MCR prescriptions. This is a dynamic and challenging pharmacy business but is also very rewarding and still has great potential for growth not only in prescriptions but also in services. The Store takes around £15,000 per week in retail takings and again there is great scope for developing this further as we move out of the Covid 19 pandemic. As well as having 3 x ACPTs, the Store has a part-time Assistant Manager and around 16 other "heads". We are looking for an experienced Store Manager who has drive and energy to succeed but is also able to motivate and further develop the Team to achieve great results. A strong focus on what our customers need and an ability to translate this into actions that delight them is an essential requirement for the job.

Musselburgh is located on the South East outskirts of Edinburgh and is commutable by public transport or car from the City Centre. There is plenty of parking within the Town close to the Store.

The daily shift pattern will be between the hours of 9.00am-6pm on a rota of 3 out of 4 Saturdays.
