The Head of Stores role brings both customer focused leadership and operational excellence to their region.

We are looking for an instinctive retailer who can consistently deliver Boots Commercial and Pharmacy strategies, with a passion for developing and inspiring exceptional teams across their business.

Skills required:

• Ability to leverage profitable income streams in retail, pharmacy including online across the region
• Agile, responsive and makes bold requests in a demanding retail and challenging environment whilst thinking of the longer term gain

Knowledge and Experience:
• Pharmacist or Pharmacy Advisor (essential that the Pharmacy Advisors Programme is completed if not a Pharmacist)
• Strong operational experience in a multi-site retail and pharmacy portfolio with proven experience in maximising operational performance
• Experience of managing and influencing teams in a multi-site retail environment
• Track record of delivering operating efficiencies and customer experience improvements that maximize store profitability
• Excellent leadership and coaching skills with a track record in performance management
• Commercially astute, particularly in the area of efficiency/cost management
• Proven experience of leading successfully from a distance
• Ability to understand, analyse and manage operational and payroll budgets
