The role is part of a cohort of Product Owners that sit within the MarTech and Data Development Team in Marketing,

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the identification and incorporation of new first, second, and third-party data sources to enrich our data landscape and our customer’s profile density and drive an improved customer experience.
• Own the continued evolution of the Single View of Customer capability and ensure that we maximise its value as a business tool. Key responsibilities include development of the product roadmap, backlog management, onboarding of new systems.
• Be the guardian of our central consents solution and ensure that our data is in shape and available to meet business needs
• Work with product owners across the business to ensure alignment of our products and systems with our enterprise data standards and our Single Customer View.
• Work closely with the Customer Data Governance Manager to ensure data integrity is maintained throughout all data projects and regulatory requirements are met e.g. GDPR
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business to drive engagement and to promote the value in data

A bit about you:

• Passionate about the use of data - with excellent attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• A resilient, self-starter able to work with ambiguity and manage complex, competing demands and multiple stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills and high impact and influencing skills to promote your ideas and move others toward a common vision or goal. Able to articulate complex data issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Able to work in a fast paced, omni-channel environment with the ability to see the bigger picture, get to the heart of the problem and to drive the right decisions at pace
• Some experience of working within a retail business environment would be an advantage

This role sits within the MarTech & Data Development Team which delivers complex technology-based solutions across the customer experience and is responsible for leading the delivery of Mass Personalisation within Boots UK.
