Learning & Development Designer (Beauty- Self Selection)

The Beauty L&D Digital Design & Delivery Specialist will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to scope, design and if required deliver inspiring, insight led learning that will meet the needs of our customers, colleagues and business.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with L&D Managers, Subject Matter Experts and key stakeholders to identify, consult, recommend, design and deliver insight led, blended learning that is relevant for the learner experience, across a variety of mediums, including digital social learning platforms, LMS, virtual classrooms and face to face.
• Plan and implement robust KPI measures into every intervention to measure success and return on investment, using the data to shape future work and to inform the business of the learning impact achieved
• Drive innovation by continuously monitoring internal and external market to identify evolving learning and beauty needs and trends to adapt content and delivery methods whilst developing self and others with the latest L&D and Beauty thinking
• Plan projects effectively and hold self and other to account in order to design and implement effective launches of learning to build capability
• Build great partnerships with learners, SMEs and stakeholders of all levels including D&I and BRG groups to ensure a collaborative design process to deliver learning that is inclusive and authentic

A bit about you…

• Experience in content design and a working knowledge of 365 tools is required for this role
• You have a high level of experience in either designing, the delivery of or creating digital learning materials.
• Experience of delivering blended learning solutions to meet the needs of a commercial business
• You are passionate about beauty or products and are passionate about the connections between building capability and the result this can have on sales in beauty
• You can demonstrate a commercial awareness and where your learning tools and modules have helped to drive return on investment
• Passionate to learn about and implement latest thinking in L&D and beauty trends, including digital, virtual, design, delivery and learning theories whilst developing the rest of the L&D team
• Highly collaborative and confident to work with internal and external stakeholders of all levels to ensure learning is fit for purpose and builds capability to deliver business objectives
• Able to work well under pressure, maintaining a positive mindset, manage conflicting priorities and confidently have ‘big conversations’ around trade-offs and priorities with strong project planning and co-ordination skills
