The Assistant PR Manager will play an instrumental role in the Boots UK PR team, developing and activating consumer PR campaigns across health, wellness, pharmacy and beauty. This involves working closely with our PR agency to deliver best in class editorial content and coverage. If you are a great story-teller, lover of content and get a real buzz from securing great coverage, we would like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating PR plans and activating them across all areas of the business
• Building great relationships with our agency and managing them on a daily basis
• Drafting engaging and well-written copy for different audiences; from press releases through to social media content
• Building and maintaining relationships including stakeholder management
• Managing and producing content working alongside videographers, photographers and graphic designers to create compelling and news-worthy assets
• Managing the brands reputation via a busy press office
• Supporting the team with budgeting
• Reporting and evaluating work, taking learnings on board to inform future planning

A bit about you:

• Excellent verbal and written skills used as part of a previous PR/Comms role
• Ability to deliver standout PR campaigns which attract different audiences
• A great understanding of content creation and landing this editorially
• Brilliantly organised with examples of how you;ve used this in a previous PR/Comms role
• Enthusiastic and willing to get stuck in
