Change Manager – Transformation
This role is in the Modernising our Support Office programme and forms one of the 7 key programmes in the Boots UK Transformation portfolio. The objective of the programme is to radically streamline & modernise our Support Office operation, driving out inefficiencies to deliver a more effective & agile operating model underpinned by the right capabilities for a “digital first” retail business.
The purpose of this role is to work across all workstreams to support the planning and delivery of the change for colleagues. This role will also create and lead the externally facing communication and engagement plan into the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop the overarching change plan for the E2E programme, connecting the change across the multiple workstreams
  • Develop the structure and approach for change that supports the workstreams delivery of change
  • Build and manage the communications and engagement plan for the E2E programme
  • Support the workstreams and respective functions to understand the change process and thereby implementing change successfully themselves
  • Monitor and evaluate the progress of change within the programme
A bit about you…
  • Extensive experience within Change Management, with awareness of developing change plans cross-functionally, but also supporting and coaching teams to deliver.
  • Excellent communication and engagement skills, able to work well across all levels within the organisation
  • Influencing and relationship building skills, working well across a broad set of stakeholders from project team through to Exec Sponsors
  • Strong Project/Programme Management experience, able to drive the plan, manage risks as part of the regular programme governance
