Global Brands Research manages cohorts of human volunteers and conducts consumer and clinical studies in order to build insights, test new ideas, technologies and products. We provide data that supports business decisions and generate brand equity in the innovation and new product development domain. We conduct testing with consumers in their homes as well as conducting scientific and clinical trials within our own Research Centre and with partners around the world. We ensure that our pipeline of innovation delivers real results, that our customers love. Working as a Biological Imager, you will take images of human volunteers over several months to quantify the performance of our internally developed skin care products. You will also work with partners to validate new imaging devices that volunteers can use in their homes.

Key Responsibilities
Capture facial images of human volunteers on a skin cream intervention study over several months using a Newtone ColorFace®
• Capture skin images that are suitable for use in PR and advertising
• Supply quality images to Newtone for image analysis in order to quantify the size of the benefit
• Validate in home skin diagnostics e.g FitSkinTM
• Develop a strong working relationship with external partners
• Document activities, catalogue and store all images so they can be easily accessed

A bit about you…
Thorough understanding and working knowledge of photography equipment and techniques including studio lighting and macro photography
• Knowledge and experience in using image software packages to organise and edit images for example Adobe Lightroom
• Able to build relationships, gain trust and communicate clearly with study volunteers (members of the general public)
• Able to work and deliver at pace with excellent attention to detail
• Ideally interested in new biological imaging techniques. Technically minded with the willingness and ability to solve problems
