What you can expect

This is a fantastic opportunity for 3rd year MPharm students (2nd year students in Northern Ireland & sandwich students from Bradford University ) to experience our Boots Pharmacy Placement (BPP). This is a paid, practical placement, where you’ll be given the opportunity to put your university learning into practice. Our placement gives you valuable experience of community pharmacy to set you up for the rest of your studies & your Pre-registration year.

We have a wide variety of stores available for your placement. From local pharmacies through to our larger high street & flagship stores, you’ll be able to develop a great understanding of what it means to work at Boots and support your local community. You’ll be delivering genuine care and building great relationships with your patients, customers and colleagues, through the Boots Healthcare Way.

You’ll have the opportunity to work with your friendly in-store team and have the support of your colleagues, as well as a dedicated mentor. Your mentor will be on hand to support you to get the best out of your placement, supporting you both personally and professionally.

Together we can make feel good happen.

What you’ll need to have

We are looking for naturally warm people who show genuine care. You’ll be proactive and have a ‘one team’ mentality – after all it’s our people that are at the heart of our business. It’s a fantastic opportunity to add to your own development, and a chance to learn more about us as a business. It could open up even more opportunities with Boots such as part time work after your placement and, most importantly, a chance to secure a Pre-registration training place with us.
