The next step in the digital transformation of the organisation is to unlock a ‘modern’ CPG that is end consumer focused and data driven with an ultra-efficient execution of time to market.
The role of the Senior Enterprise Architect is to partner the leadership of the organization to support and drive the business strategy and technology enablement of this modern CPG.

Key Responsibilities
• Appreciation and knowledge of industry trends to identify opportunities for differentiation.
• Partnering with the business to guide and support the development of the business strategy, business architecture, & technology architecture aligned to delivering key business outcomes.
• Challenging stakeholders, partners and teams to go from concepts/plans/business challenges to simplified actionable ideas that result in smart new business solutions.
• Program-level architectural direction and leadership of significant transformational initiatives.
• You will develop the capabilities roadmap for execution against the target business strategy and architecture.
• You will ensure alignment between divisional and global strategies and standards through strong collaboration and partnership with the WBA technology and delivery teams. .
• Leading the architecture practice in the division, including developing the architecture team.
• Build and maintain relationships with external partners to build awareness of roadmaps and industry best practices to augment the ‘Modern CPG’ with insights to drive differentiation.
The role reports to the Senior Director of Enterprise Architecture for WBA International and dotted line to the CIO of Global Brands.
The outcomes directed in this role have a significant impact on the organization's short- and long-term results, specific customers and/or partners. The role therefore is of a strategic nature to support the shaping and delivery of the divisional strategy and group objectives.
A bit about you…
• An Information Technology background with appropriate Architectural qualifications, you will be able to demonstrate experience of enterprise architecture in a large international and matrix organization
• Relevant business experience in Consumer Packaged Goods would be advantageous, otherwise experience in breakthrough start-ups will also be invited to apply.
• Experience of working in IT at a senior level.
• Extensive experience in leading business and IT change from Architectural perspective.
• Significant experience collaborating with teams across wide geographies
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
