In this role you will be joining a dedicated project team helping to design, deliver and embed the future business process and system for managing our product master data. It will offer you the opportunity to learn more about managing the end-to-end process of product information and how data can drive growth for the business.

Global Brands currently sell 10,000 beauty products in over 20 retailers and 40+ ecommerce sites globally. This project is part of an exciting, wider business transformation initiative as we embark on the next stage of the journey to expand our market leading portfolio into multiple retailers and direct to consumer websites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Your role will involve understanding business requirements and project benefits, designing robust, efficient processes and working with system experts to ensure the solution delivers against the true business needs.
  • You will build strong relationships with user groups around the business to understand how and why people interact with product master data, identify benefit opportunities, resolve conflicting requirements, and drive simplicity in solution design. Stakeholders will span product development, sourcing, supply chain and finance across the UK, US and Asia.
  • You will play a key role in planning and managing master data cleansing activities, establishing business rules to validate and enrich information extracted from existing systems ready for migration into the new solution.
  • You will also be responsible for a range of project implementation tasks including reviewing design documents, designing and carrying out user acceptance testing (UAT), and developing and delivering end user training.
A bit about you…
  • You will have experience working in a data related role and have a keen interest in improving business process and system design.
  • Ability to work both in a team and on own initiative to solve problems and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Strong data handling abilities, with advanced Excel skills
  • Experience as a business participant in a significant IT implementation in a large organisation
  • Working knowledge of Lean, 6 Sigma training and agile IT delivery methodology
  • Experience working with product / material / article master data
