Global Brands Operations plays a critical role in enabling the delivery of WBA’s highly differentiated and profit additive Own Brand Product Portfolio. Central to this is WBA Global Sourcing function who are responsible for the strategic sourcing of products from ethically validated sources and the management and development of strategic manufacturing as materials supply partnerships.

Reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager - Global Supplier Partnerships, you will form part of the team responsible for global partnership value creation. You must stay aligned with the evolving needs of the business and ensure as things change we are maximizing the benefits from any supplier partnership relationship. Maintain pace in delivering business expectation, whilst creating a strong foundational business and developing and owning new business models in order to deliver sustainable results.

Key Responsibilities
• Supporting the Senior Commercial manager in owning joint business plan development and business case realization.

• Leverage and share best practice, identify and govern business decisions linked to partnerships in order to maximize group profitability and value. Identify where the partnerships may leak value and ensure as a global business, we are setup to mitigate this.

• Collaborate across WBA to ensure we are identifying and maximizing opportunity of partnerships across the group by seeking out new opportunities.

• Ensure that all partnership agreements do not destabilize or put at risk the current business.

• Support global work streams that will drive benefit for WBA and its partners, engaging senior team members to own the plans and deliver formal business updates as part of a rigorous governance process.

• Carry out day to day line management responsibilities and development of the assistant commercial manager.

A bit about you…
• Commercial professional with a range of business experience (preferably across Sales, Business Development, Procurement or Finance).
• A strong cross functional player with excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Proven track record of delivery of highest levels of business performance and partnership development.
• Experience in leading planning, developing, and managing expense and budgets.
• Has worked in commercial teams and has experience of, people development, change management and collaborative business planning.
• Significant Synergy and value delivery in major multi-national companies. Strong analytical and reporting skills will be essential.
• Degree level education is preferable.
