Lean Manager

Key Responsibilities
Within European Sourcing
• Leads workshops/kaizen events to bring together cross-functional teams to identify and execute end-to-end cost reduction opportunities and process improvements within our products, suppliers and processes to achieve targeted performance improvement in a compressed timeframe.
• Leads all Product and Packaging optimisation related projects, owning the process from beginning to end ensuring Lean Product Design and best practice supply chain solutions are incorporated into our operating models and business processes: Works with teams to establish a robust understanding of ‘fitness for purpose’ to ensure that products and supporting processes are not over-engineered. Drives accountability across functions to ensure timelines are met. Resolves issues, and when necessary, escalates to management to ensure projects remain on track.
• Drives a culture of customer focus, data-driven decision-making, ownership of processes and operational metrics and continuous improvement.
Across Global Brands
• Works with key stakeholders from across the business to develop and deploy a Lean strategy and plan for Global Brands.
• Educate, coach, challenge, and inspire business leaders on Lean initiatives. Develops, trains and supports deployment of a set of standard improvement tools & techniques embedding an enterprise wide culture of continuous improvement.

A bit about you…
• Must be able to demonstrate substantial experience of leading large, complex, cross-functional improvement projects in multiple parts of the value chain using Lean and/or other business improvement methodologies, managing by fact. Ability to identify, extract and manipulate data to identify issues and trends, develop insights and information that directs and validates improvement activity. Ability to engage the business on strategy, then develop and implement tactical solutions. Skilled in aligning and managing multiple stakeholders at different levels, across multiple functions and geographies.
• Ability to drive change including cultural aspects of change by building significant relationships and influencing different levels within the business and through informal reporting lines.
• Preferred operations/retail/manufacturing background with experience in project management (for example: planning, organizing and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives).
