The eCommerce Trading Manager will be responsible for the delivery and success of new category expansion. Working closely with the eCommerce Trading, SBMs and Insights teams to identify new opportunities for boots.com. This will play a key role in delivering our total Boots.com revenue & profit and market share ambitions.

On occasions, the role will be required to be available out of normal office hours and has significant responsibility to ensure the website performs strongly to achieve it’s yearly P&L expectations. Accountable for driving the e-commerce agenda for their categories across the business while managing key relationship both internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Landing new categories on boots.com, plus driving the new category to the business care objectives
• Managing multiple stakeholders across varying functions both internally & externally
• Responsible for the strategic direction of the new category/sub-categories online
• Identifying new range opportunities.
• Responsible for legal and safe trade of categories online and delivery of our key KPI’s
• Manage key relationship with Drop Ship supplier
• Key influencer in the ranging decision making

A bit about you:

• Online experience or strong trading experience.
• Understanding and exposure to performance marketing and the trading levers this includes.
• Data & insight led using analysis to develop customer & site actions.
• Stake holder management across multiple functions and third parties. Being able to influence and engage peers and key suppliers.
• Willingness to push boundaries and take calculated risks, while being unpredictable to gain a competitive advantage.
• People management and development experience preferable
• Champion boldness in delivery.
• Project management capability
• Takes ownership and hold others to account.
