Overview of the role

This is a key role in ensuring the assessment, investigationThis is a diverse role covering all aspects of Global Brands from the highly regulated health care products including medicines, devices and vitamins through to the well-known brands like No7 and Soap and Glory and management of incidents are conducted collaboratively, working with multiple teams across the business. Once decisions are identified, the agreed appropriate actions are then delivered effectively and efficiently, always with consumer front of mind. This is a diverse role covering all aspects of Global Brands from the highly regulated health care products including medicines, devices and vitamins through to the well-known brands like No7 and Soap and Glory.

Your Key Responsibilities
• Supports the Incident & Recall Manager and the Head of Quality & Safety in managing all types of incidents.
• Ensures the triage of potential product incidents according to the WBA Incident Management procedures.
• Liaises with key Technical and Business stakeholders to ensure effective input into the Technical and Business risk assessments.
• Escalates potential serious and critical incidents via the Incident & Recall Manager.
• The role is responsible for ensuring appropriate containment in stores, in warehouse and the associated communication within Boots UK and GB Operations.
• Ensures that product disposition has occurred in line with relevant product specific requirements e.g. Medicines, Medical Devices
• Performs other tasks eg adhoc inspections, management & collation of C of As and product preparation as requested and in agreement with the Incident & Recall Manager

A bit about you
• Experience of product incidents inspection and communication
• Experience of completing triage process for risk identification
• Ability to set up simple inspection protocols, record and articulate issues
• Ability to communicate effectively and at all levels within the organisation
• Good team working and networking skills
• Effective document control and reporting.
