Senior HR Manager – Early Careers, Talent and Engagement
FTC or Secondment for up to 12 months

As the Senior HR Manager – Early Careers, Talent and Engagement you will play an integral role in helping to shape the future and culture of our Global Brands business. You will be an active and passionate partner to our senior leadership team working with them to set the strategy our early careers programme, which will take on a new approach in this coming year, and partnering them and our wider HR team on talent management. In this role you will interact regularly with the wider Walgreens Boots Alliance business ensuring alignment with our global strategy and that best practice is shared across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, lead and deliver the GB Early Careers strategy, including programme, recruitment, campaign design and delivery activities.
• Lead and execute the engagement strategy for Global Brands aligned to the WBA strategy, as part of the WBA Engagement community of practice, including the biannual survey, pulse surveys and listening tools.
• Jointly lead the Talent strategy for Global Brands aligned to the WBA strategy, working closely with the GB HR Partnering team
• Lead and execute the Wellbeing strategy for GB
• Lead the Recognition strategy for GB, managing the GB recognition scheme
• Lead and deliver through a small team

A bit about you…

• You can demonstrate previous experience of operating in a senior and relevant HR role such a senior role within a Centre of Expertise, or as a senior HR Business Partner, within a corporate and matrix based organization, preferably global.
• Experience of setting an early careers strategy and delivering the programme as required
• Experience of coaching and influencing at a senior level, with great partnering skills with senior leaders and functional SMEs across global matrix organisations and the ability to build trusted relationships
• Experience of planning complex HR programs of activity across geographies
• The ability to think strategically, balanced with tactical business as usual activity
• Strong commercial awareness and high delivery focus
• High moral courage
• Team management experience
