The Estates Team are looking for an experienced Estate Manager to lead either the Commercial Team or regions within the Asset Management Team. The Commercial Team role has the responsibility of line managing an Estate Surveyor. You will be based within the Boots Estate Team covering all asset duties including estate strategy, property (non retail) acquisition and closures including the ability to negotiate lease terms and present approval papers to the Director of Estates. Carry out lease renewals, rent reviews, support stores to trade and maximising income producing opportunities. You will have a strong customer focus, have experience in managing external third party advisors, have in depth Landlord & Tenant knowledge and a high level of drive and self-motivation to succeed in a fast paced, challenging environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Managing a portfolio together with sublets producing substantial rental income. You’ll also negotiate lettings and deliver new income opportunities
• Financially appraising and evaluating property transactions, preparing and presenting Board approval papers.
• Negotiating the best commercial terms in the market on all aspects of property management and rental transactions
• Assisting in the preparation of the annual property budget and monitoring progress on delivery to it.

• Managing the performance of external surveyors and lawyers to deliver on time and under budget
• Dealing with a diverse workload, from day to day property management issues, lease obligations to undertaking rent reviews and lease renewals
