As a Business Change Lead you will play an important role in translating our purpose and business strategy into action.

You will lead (or coach and support others to lead) specific projects to deliver customer and business outcomes. Helping you achieve this will be excellent critical and customer-obsessed thinking, experience of applying best practice project and change management approaches, a curious mind and appetite for innovation, and the ability to engage, mobilise and excite our people and stakeholders around business change. Not only will you have the opportunity to make a big impact through the projects you lead, you will also help to build and continuously improve the organisations project and change management capability longer-term.

Key Responsibilities:

While you will have the opportunity to shape the Business Change Lead role over time, your key accountabilities are:

• Setting up key projects for the business, including defining their outcomes, scope, measures of success, deliverables and plans, in-line with the strategic plan
• Aligning and engaging key stakeholders to build support for your projects
• Leading key projects for the business, including using effective project and change management approaches, aligning resources, managing risks, issues and dependencies and reporting on progress and ensuring the change activity ladders-up to delivering the outcomes
• Being the ‘go-to’ contact for your projects and ensuring that the quality of information shared is high
• Leading cross-functional discovery/ test and learn activity
• Coaching and supporting business project leads in setting-up and executing change brilliantly
• Role modelling customer-obsessed thinking and creative problem solving
• Providing objective and friendly challenge to everything we do through a continuous improvement lens
• Contributing to the continued improvement of project and change management approaches
• Helping to upskill and develop a future pipeline of Business Change Leads from within the business

Desirable:

• Knowledge and experience of approaches that enable innovation and agile ways of working
• Leading change in the retail sector
• Knowledge of how a franchised business operates

A bit about us:

You will be part of a newly established change function. This small but hugely important team shapes and drives the business plan and works endlessly to improve the organisations change capability. You will report to the Transformation Manager, work with other Business Change Leads, work alongside the Programme Management Office and business partner with departmental stakeholders day-to-day. Being a small team, you will work collaboratively with colleagues right across the business and with external stakeholders to amplify the impact you can have. This is a truly exciting time to be part of the team as you will be able to pioneer and shape the Business Change Lead role and influence the direction of the team overall.
