The Media Manager’s role is to deliver effective communication campaigns across social channels. The MM translates commercial and marketing objectives into communication briefs; they work closely with our media agency and key internal stakeholders to ensure that the campaigns are insight & data based. The MM owns performance reporting for their campaigns. The MM recommends budget allocation that will deliver optimum commercial or strategic impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic media planning: understands how commercial and marketing objectives can be delivered through social media campaigns. Works in collaboration with commercial teams to agree priorities.
• Accountable for strategic and tactical media plans using insight, customer journeys, performance data and analytics.
• Utilizes martech to support the delivery of effective campaigns; works closely with data science and AI teams to drive mass personalization across channels.
• Performance tracking and reporting: works with the Performance Manager to measure and report on campaign & channel performance; ensures KPIs are in place for all activities.
• Works closely with media agency and internal media teams to ensure social campaigns are fully integrated
• Drives meaningful innovation; identifies new, innovative ways of reaching customers. Understands how MarTech can support the delivery of effective campaigns.
• Works closely with the creative and content teams to ensure media assets are optimized across channels
• Supports development of Level 6 colleagues

Your Experience:

• Demonstrable expertise in key media channels, especially paid social platforms and how they deliver demonstrable performance for the business
• Media planning experience client or agency side working on retail and/or consumer businesses
• Experience of managing media agencies – planners and buyers; experience of working in close collaboration with creative and content teams.
• Understands how to incorporate customer insight and customer journeys with analytics to drive results.
• Strong commercial acumen; ability to drive measurable performance for the business. Analytical and structured.
• Proficiency in key martech tools, including GA, Coremetrics (or similar); understanding of performance tracking including econometric and MTA.
• Budget management experience
