Premium Beauty within is experiencing a period of transformation – we are seeing double digit growth and increasing levels of participation within the category. This is supported by an exciting roadmap of new brand launches- in the past couple of months we have launched brands such as MAC, NARS and Laura Mercier, and we have an exciting ambition to launch more.

The eCommerce Lead for Premium will be instrumental in helping the team in the delivery of new brands onto, in an digital first launch strategy. Working closely with the Assistant Buyer in the premium team, their role is to pitch and secure new brands, agree the commercial and marketing plans, but also work to embed new brands into Boots.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for driving the revenue and profit associated with new premium beauty brands, through the execution & delivery of the agreed commercial plan. Help to lead collaboration with marketing on a suitable plan to launch & love new brands.
  • Work in strong partnership with the trading L6 to secure new premium beauty brands, providing digital expertise for digital-first brands.
  • Accountable for the e-commerce metrics and optimisation of the brands across the and websites.
  • Full financial performance reporting on a weekly, monthly and ad hoc interim basis; ability to analyse, interpret and articulate performance drivers and identify risks and opportunities to the plan.
  • Work with multiple internal stakeholders to ensure commercial plan is optimised and market leading.

A bit about you:
  • Trading experience and a strong financial acumen able to analyse, interpret and articulate financial performance. Ability to confidently present to external stakeholders and be the external face of for suppliers.
  • Digital experience working in an e-commerce role or able to demonstrate an active interest in e-commerce
  • Cross functional working, a focus on brilliant delivery and relationship building are key as you will be working with a broad set of stakeholders
  • High attention to detail and the ability to be adaptable. Must be highly organised, enthusiastic, and resourceful and have the ability to make decisions in a fast paced and complex environment.
  • Clearly communicate timelines, tasks and deadlines to all stakeholders.
  • Highly proactive and the able to prioritise multiple tasks with minimum supervision.
