This role coordinates, controls and implements a number of key activities within the Boots Opticians Supply Chain team, focused on cost saving, store service and support, and audit completion monitoring and administration. The role has these individual accountabilities and provides a support for the wider supply chain team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Track and coordinate Boots Opticians supplier audit programme. Monitor and record completion of audits and direct escalations as required.
• Coordinate resolution of product quality issues. Coordinating internal and external partners to investigate and evaluate consistent product quality issues raised by stores / customer complaint escalations.
• Administer supplier cost recovery activity to recover costs from suppliers for frame damaged in manufacturing. Manage the reporting and correspondence required to identify and quantify frame damages, and secure and track credits from frame suppliers
• Operate the Supply Chain store helpdesk. Coordinate the investigation and resolution of Store/Area Manager queries logged via the Helpdesk. Purchase order and invoice administration for supply chain partners. Administration of payment processes to pay suppliers for services provided

• Good communicator able to effectively communicate issues to support robust resolution
• able to undertake investigations and understand the root causes of issues and provide sustainable solutions
• good organisation skills to organise workload and meet deadlines, with an attention to detail
• competent with key Microsoft packages / adaptability to learn new systems
• Team player able and willing to work with other others to support with queries and resolve issues for stores, working with internal functions and supply chain service providers
