The Assistant Merchandising Manager will be instrumental in helping the organisation to achieve its Agile Transformational goals. Responsible for embedding an Agile culture, methodology, tools and techniques in order to help teams keep a delivery and learning cadence that helps to remain focused on delivering value against the organisational outcomes, while remaining creative and dynamic.

Responsible for guiding teams through the implementation process, encouraging colleagues and leadership to embrace the Agile mind-set and associated methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sets the brand and product strategy, financial KPI plan and buy plan for each season based on sound analysis and insight alongside the Buyers
• Owns and plans the range and drives out an option plan by grade and quantity
• Owns and tracks the timely intake and delivery phasing in line with the critical path
• Owns the trading activity plan to drive sales e.g. promotions, sales phasing]
• Owns and signs off the buy sheet summary of the range by phase, category and sub- category keying in range to Mothercare systems]
• Takes ownership and accountability for the WSSI (weekly sales stock intake) - reviewing performance, weekly, monthly, seasonal, cumulatively and forecasting BTA/future position and taking actions
• Reviews performance and market review to feed in to influence future ranges, completing quarterly documents to feed in to Mothercare
