This role will build great relationships with partners ensuring a balance of engagement and challenge as well as the protection of our Brand.

They will act primarily as a business coach in order to drive management fee delivery through efficient and effective franchise business practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Through spending the majority of time undertaking store visits and building strong relationships with franchise partners this role will lead and grow the profitability of the Franchise estate through the delivery of a consistently high quality customer experience, business performance coaching and maintaining high standards of compliance and presentation.
• Protect our Brand by ensuring partners deliver the required regulatory standards of patient safety, clinical and retail standards and fulfillment of their franchise commercial agreements and the Operating Manual
• Support the growth of the franchise estate through the development of both internal and external pipeline talent and existing franchise partners portfolio expansion
• Follows up and supports delivery on centrally driven property, renewal and debt management action plans
• Is a consult with Boots Opticians finance team on contracts, business modeling, finance and debt management and franchise accounts and similarly with Opticians property teams on portfolio planning and interventions.

A bit about you…

• Significant experience operating in a regional role across a large geography, preferably within an Optical retailer and significant exposure to Franchise, JV and Company owned business models.
• Significant financial understanding of P&L, cash-flow, business development and business management
• Experienced business coach who can bring a sharp focus to deliver the in year and future plans without line management
• A brilliant self-starter, who can balance autonomy with being highly accountable and resilient and has deep experience of business development to maximise performance
• Exemplary and effective communicator with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with influence and impact both internally as well as hold industry insight and external influence
