The Programme Manager will be instrumental in helping the organisation to achieve its Agile Transformational goals. Responsible for embedding an Agile culture, methodology, tools and techniques in order to help teams keep a delivery and learning cadence that helps to remain focused on delivering value against the organisational outcomes, while remaining creative and dynamic.
Responsible for guiding teams through the implementation process, encouraging colleagues and leadership to embrace the Agile mind-set and associated methodologies. The role will involve managing the development and delivery of a seasonal period of marketing activity across all channels as a programme.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accountable for managing the end to end marketing governance process for a seasonal period of marketing activity across all channels
• Utilises agile ways of working in programme set up and management, and drives agile mindset through the squads
• Creates and runs critical paths, RAG reports and develops further documentation required to support programme management
• Proactively seeks out and surfaces recommendations to adapt the ‘Marketing Governance’ process in order to balance the use of agile principles and the need to hit key operational deadlines
• Identifies and recommends mitigation for any challenges to on time and to brief seasonal delivery, escalating to the seasonal Chief Product Owner
• Works collaboratively with other seasonal programme managers, sharing learnings to drive consistency of process across seasons
• Owns the set up and running of all meetings within the seasonal programme they are managing, including forward action planning and review

• The role reports to the Senior Customer and Commercial Governance Manager, who is accountable for the end to end marketing governance process, through which the BUK Marcomms plans are delivered to customers, patients and stores.
• Works closely with the Senior Customer and Commercial Planning team, who oversee the full annual planning cycle.
