Maddison Street is a busy Local Pharmacy serving Blyth town centre and wider community 100 hrs per week.

The store is growing with new retail and pharmacy customers appreciating the convenience and warm welcome from an establshed and experienced team.

We are looking for a self sufficient Pharmacist prepared to support our Sunday business which is varied and includes medicines supervision, the supply of services including NUMSAS and DMIRs.

We also support core National Services including Cancer Support, Erectile Dysfunction, Hair Loss, Health Checks, Morning After Pill, Pneumonia Vaccinations, Smoking Cessation, Winter Flu Jab and Substance Misuse Supervision.

The store is best reached by car where parking is directly outside the store but also has good local bus services. It is adjacent to three large healthcentres and has a 100 hr contract. It is busy across the weekend providing local services and out of hours referrals.

The opening hours for the store on Sunday is 9:30am-8:00pm, you'd work an 8 hour day within these hours.

  • Be registered with relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC, PSNI, PSI)

  • Have a love of working collaboratively with a team-centred approach
  • Have excellent knowledge of pharmacy operations and provisions of national and local services
  • Role model communication skills; you will hold excellent face to face interactions to effectively meet the varied needs of customers and patients in pharmacy
