We have an exciting opportunity in the Boots Transformation team to join the End-to-end Process Simplification programme that will enable Boots to radically streamline & modernise the Support Office by driving out inefficiencies and delivering a more efficient & agile operating model underpinned by the right capabilities for a “digital first” retail business.

This role will be instrumental in helping the organisation to achieve its transformational goals and will be responsible for working with the business process owners to scope, develop and deliver more efficient and effective end to end operational processes that underpin & accelerate business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and deliver a number of change projects within a given workstream identified in the e2e process simplification programme
• Seek out and replicate best practice to deliver change at pace. Working across the business in partnership & collaboration at all times to a clear, ‘signed-off’ brief
• Positively influence strategic decisions but isn’t the ultimate decision maker
• Role has scope to design new processes and change the current service proposition to stores – empowered to be creative and pull on the automation arm of the business to accelerate change
• Financial accountability for delivering, tracking and monitoring project benefits and feeding these into the wider programme of change
• Identify interdependencies between workstreams and other processes – calling out potential areas of duplication
• Identify areas of opportunity to automate key elements of processes

A bit about you:

• You will have a deep understanding of the current end to end process area
• You will be able to demonstrate extensive experience in process design and be able to evidence this
• You will have experience in externally focused thinking that can be applied in a business (Boots) context and have the ability to keep things simple & engaging, working collaboratively at all times
• You will be able to demonstrate change leaderships skills – excellent communication and engagement skills
• You will have experience of leadership through a virtual team
• You will have the ability to see the big picture and long term vision while also being able to focus in on the detailed processes

We are a small dedicated team within Boots UK, based in Nottingham Support office, that work with business process owners and process end users to apply specialist knowledge, expertise and resources to support and embed process improvements and simplified ways of working – this can be realised through establishing clearer e2e process accountabilities, cutting out waste/duplication/rework, automating repetitive steps within a process, establishing better decision making through simpler governance etc. We’re working right at the heart of the business to drive out inefficiencies and deliver a more efficient & agile operating model underpinned by the right capabilities for a “digital first” retail business
