We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled consumer PR expert to join the Boots UK PR team. You’ll be part of the team responsible for growing brand love and advocacy for the UK’s biggest pharmacy, health and beauty retailer; working on integrated marketing campaigns and exciting new brand launches. You’ll work closely with our PR agency, social media, customer communications and trading teams to develop and deliver stand out PR campaigns across Health, Wellness and Beauty.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing and delivering PR strategies for pharmacy, health and wellness across earned media.
• Managing a PR Agency to time and budget to deliver key campaigns
• Acting as an ambassador for Boots, building relationships with media and key influencers.
• Working alongside the wider customer communications team to develop integrated marketing campaigns
• Leading for excellence in evaluation and analysis of PR activities
• Responsible for day to day management of budgets.
• Reactive issues management as part of our press office, including occasional out of hours on call at evenings and weekends, acting as a spokesperson for Boots UK.

We’re looking for someone who can positively influence stakeholders at all levels, internally and externally.

With experience of managing and delivering high profile PR campaigns, you’ll love working flexibly to changing deadlines. You’ll have a passion for health and beauty, and for developing campaigns that drive tangible results.

You’ll be up to date with the latest trends in PR and social influence, and be happy to work in an agile way to deliver multiple projects and campaigns.

A graduate, or of graduate calibre, with significant experience in-house or agency-side, you will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be IT and social media literate with experience of Microsoft Office including Word, Powerpoint and Excel.
