This is your chance to join our Pharmacy Systems Master Data Centre of Excellence team, assuming accountability for the accuracy of the clinical elements of this Master Data.
The in-store applications which support the end-to-end prescription dispensing process in Boots are critical both from a clinical and from a business perspective. Our Pharmacy Management Systems and stock replenishment solutions play a fundamental role in patient safety and efficient store operation. These systems rely on accurate Master Data to perform effectively.
You’ll play a crucial role in delivering regular Master Data updates to live systems. You’ll devotemuch of your time to reviewing and approving the Master Data which has been authored or generated by the team or which has been changed by refreshing external inputs.
In addition, you’ll be frequently engaging with colleagues in multiple business functions, including The Chief Pharmacist’s Office, to ensure that the clinical requirements of all stakeholders are consistently met and to efficiently resolve clinical queries pertaining to the Master Data.
You’ll also spend time managing our relationship with third-party suppliers of clinical information or decision support tools.
A bit about you…
We’re looking for a Pharmacist with a keen eye for detail. Some knowledge of the NHS Dictionary ofMedicines and Devices (dm+d) and its implementation in clinical systems would be advantageous.
You should also be able to use the software packages available in the Microsoft Office suite. We’ll expect you to be a confident decision maker and an excellent communicator, but, above all, we’re seeking someone who shares the team’s passion for accuracy and diligence.
