As customers are changing, so are we: focusing on really understanding our customers’ needs and making the most of our great products and services to optimise the online shopping experience and drive growth.About the role:The Product Set-Up Lead plays a vital role in the ecommerce merchandising team, leading the team that set up all new products on boots.com. This is a new role that will help to create and develop the team, building their focus on data-led optimisation to drive best practice in new product merchandising.Key Responsibilities:• As an expert in online merchandising, you’ll lead the product set up team, to ensure products are set up brilliantly first time, and optimized as required after launch• Supporting the ecommerce trading team and customer planning team to ensure best in class launches for promotions, events, NPD etc.• Managing a small team of product set up assistants and prioritising workload according to business needs• Acting as an SME within development projects to ensure that business requirements are captured for future enhancements A bit about you:• Experienced working online with merchandising levers• Exemplary attention to detail and confident holding the team to high standards• Highly motivated and able to support the development of a high performing team• Comfortable using data to drive insight and make decisions• Able to react quickly to new ways of working and to identify and implement improvements to processes• Knowledge of SEO and customer journey planning would be extremely helpfulIMPORTANT NOTE: This role requires regular working outside normal offices hours. This typically involves working from 5am one or two times a month, occasional weekend working particularly at peak times and occasional overnight working e.g. for major launches. In general you will be expected to be flexible with your working hours to meet business and customer needs.
