As customers are changing, so are we: focusing on really understanding our customers’ needs and making the most of our great products and services to optimise the online shopping experience and drive growth.About the role:The Commercial Lead will champion Pharmacy within boots.com, and support the Commercial Manager to optimise the customer experience and associated online levers to deliver our Digital Pharmacy objectives. They will report into the Commercial Manager for Digital Pharmacy, and work closely with a wide range of colleagues across boots.com and Pharmacy teams.Key Responsibilities:• Support the end to end management of Digital Pharmacy P&L, including monitoring and driving KPIs to deliver overall digital pharmacy performance• Reviewing, suggesting and improving the digital pharmacy approach and customer experience, keeping abreast of market developments• Supporting the development of the future roadmap, and supporting delivery of new initiatives• Optimising day to day activities e.g. customer journeys, SEO, content, marketing, and other online levers, with support from the wider boots.com team as necessary• Working effectively with multiple internal stakeholders across various functions – e.g. pharmacy, the wider boots.com team, marketing• Responsible for operating within legal and safe framework and exercising appropriate judgement on when to seek advice A bit about you:• Digital commercial experience with strong financial acumen, able to analyse, interpret and articulate financial performance and customer metrics• Understanding of online trading levers and performance marketing – confident in using data and insight to drive performance and in recommending new approaches• Experienced in building and delivering plans to drive performance – happy to take a flexible, hands on, approach to get the job done• Excellent stakeholder management – confident engaging, influencing and holding to account team, peers and senior stakeholders• Pharmacy or healthcare knowledge/experience would be an advantageIMPORTANT NOTE: This role requires regular working outside normal offices hours. This typically involves working from 5am one or two times a month, occasional weekend working particularly at peak times and occasional overnight working e.g. for major launches. In general, you will be expected to be flexible with your working hours to meet business and customer needs.
