Overview of the role

Reporting into the Head of IT Service & Delivery, and supporting the Global Brands IT Business Partners, you will act in a project management capacity supporting the delivery and successful rollout of Management Information and Analytics systems – understanding the vision and working with them to deliver projects across this portfolio including: Management Information and Reporting; Analytical Capabilities; and Data as a Service for other applications.

Your Responsibilities

• Management of Global Brands IT projects with a significant strategic importance
• Involvement in the investigation phase / raising of Business Cases if needed (jointly with IT Business Partners)
• Planning and assigning resources for projects
• Managing resources (internal and external) and budget for the duration of the project
• Project planning and management of execution of the project against agreed timescales and budget
• Status reporting and Escalation when/if needed of project issues
• Will ensure the proper project methodology is followed for the project.
• Jointly leads the project board with the business project manager, where applicable
• Will participate in the project review sessions

Key Skills Required

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate flexibility in approach to delivery, innovative thinking, strong ability to work in a matrix environment, and the ability to challenge and relate concepts or ideas to key stakeholders.

In addition;

• Accredited project management expertise - Prince 2, Agile, or equivalent
• Experience in leading agile projects is essential
• Project and process planning – working on multi million pound projects
• Recent experience of delivering large scale Management Information and Analytics solutions is essential, together with a background in the Consumer Product Goods industry
• Experience of working with cloud-enabled platforms is desirable
• Excellent senior/exec stakeholder management skills – must be very comfortable communicating, and presenting to, senior stakeholders
