Your Questions Answered

Do I have to apply online?
We encourage applications via the website - this enables us to deal with your application in the most appropriate way. To search for opportunities simply search by role and/or location. Alternatively you can call our resourcing team on 0845 121 9011 who will be able to take your details.
What should I do if I can't find a location or role I want?
There are a couple of things you can do. You can register to receive alerts when locations or roles become available that way you'll be one of the first to know when a vacancy arises. Or you can apply to one of our nationwide vacancies for Pharmacists: use reference Boots 6681 and one of our recruitment team will contact you.
What documents will I need during the application process?
All our applications ask for you to attach a CV but you will also be asked for information about your qualifications/registration so it may be worth having those details to hand. If you don't have the information you need you can save your application and come back a little later if necessary.
What kind of interview can I expect?
We try and make the application process simple and straightforward. The type of interview or assessment may vary depending on the role you have applied for. We also aim to give you helpful advice to help you really shine.

You may be asked to take part in a telephone interview - this is a nice and easy way to help us build a picture of your skills and experience and also lets you find out more about the role and how to join Boots.

All our roles have key competencies that are the behaviours we look for in our people. A competency interview involves you telling us about certain situations you've been in and how you've behaved to achieve a desirable outcome. This helps us get a clear idea of your strengths and areas we may need to develop based upon the demands of the job.
